Dashboard covers major exports by countries. The section provides statistics on the most exported groups of products: both agricultural and non-agricultural (namely mining and manufactured products). Trade statistics is provided below for transport, travel, and government services.

  • According to World Trade Organization data, world exports of manufacturers has grown significantly from 1980 to 2013, by almost 10 times.
  • The volume of world exports of government services rose by $47.2 Billion, from 28.6 in 1980 to $75.8 in 2013. 
  • The biggest drop in export over the past 20 years was in 2009. World exports have recorded negative annual growth only once (in 2009), in the wake of the global financial crisis. 
  • In 2015, the US was the biggest export economy in the world: total merchandise export was $1,505 Billion. In 1014, the largest export commodity group was manufacturing, mainly 71,8% of total export.
