Pharmaceuticals Exports and Imports

World Trade Organization provides trade statistics of pharmaceuticals exports and imports by country up to 2015. 

• In 2014, Germany was the world's largest net exporter of pharmaceuticals: more than 14% ($80 Billion) of world pharmaceutical exports belonged to Germany. Switzerland was the second largest exporter. The EU was by far the largest world trader in medicinal and pharmaceutical products.
• The United States had the largest pharmaceutical market in the world with a value of import - $77 Billion, followed by Germany and Belgium.
