Current account balance as a percentage of GDP in the UK has been negative for last 6 years. The decline has been observed from the peak of -1.8% in 2011 to the bottom of about -5.6%.

IMF agrees with OECD and EC that in two following years the increase of current account balance to GDP is expected, but also predicts this index to remain stable since 2019.
