Kirov Region - Index of industrial production

Production index is relative measure characterizing change of industrial production scale in compared periods. There are individual and composite indices of production. Individual indices identify changes of output of one product and are calculated as the relation of its production quantities measured in physical terms in compared periods. Composite index of production identifies aggregate changes in production of all types of products and characterizes changes in value added during the production process solely due to changes in physical volume of production. Calculating of aggregate industrial production index implies step-by-step aggregation of individual indices into indices by economic activities, subgroups, groups, subclasses, classes, subsections and sections of Russian National Classifier of Economic Activities. Industrial production index is aggregate index by economic activities Mining and quarrying, Manufacturing, Electricity, gas, steam and water supply and distribution.
