What if the wealthiest gave away all their fortunes to the poorest?

The Robin Hood Index by Bloomberg compares the net worth of each country's wealthiest citizen to his compatriots' livelihood by calculating the lump sum in dollars each person living under the national poverty line would get if the assets of the richest person were liquidated and redistributed among the paupers of his country.
