The GODAN (Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition) Global Summit will focus on open data and how it can be used to address global issues especially issues affecting nutrition and agriculture. GODAN supports the proactive sharing of open data to make information about agriculture and nutrition available, accessible and usable to deal with the urgent challenge of ensuring world food security. GODAN currently has over 330 partners from national governments, non-governmental, international and private sector organizations that have committed to a joint Statement of Purpose.
