India: Health Conditions and Infrastructure Overview

The Indian states of Bihar (1,717 hospitals) and Odisha (1,709 hospitals) have the highest number of government hospitals, per state, in India. Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka, each with more than 900 hospitals, have the second highest level of hospitals of any Indian states.
