Unemployment rate as a percentage of the total labor force has been reducing from 10.2% in 2006 to 4.3% in 2016 in Germany. The only year of unemployment grew was 2009 according to UN.
Concerning forecasts, EC and OECD predict the unemployment to fall next two years, while IMF expects the increase first and only after that the decline.
