Second International Conference on Renewable Energies for Developing Countries (REDEC 2014)

The Second International Conference on Renewable Energies for Developing Countries (REDEC 2014) will explore solutions for energy saving and production in developing countries, including in the areas of: renewable energy resources; renewable energy conversion; energy storage; energy management, saving and efficiency; renewable energy-relevant policies and regulation in developing countries; technologies for rural energy service provision; and regional and international support programs for renewable energy in developing countries. A joint event on 'Appropriate Technologies and Mechanisms for Energy Services in Arab Rural Areas' will be organized by the UN Economic Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) on 25 November.
